 WHO WE ARE

The South Towns Camera Club is a photographic organization devoted to advancing its’ members’ skills in the art and science of color and monochrome prints and digital slides.

Membership is open to all photographic enthusiasts, from beginning novices to experienced photographers.  South Towns is renown for excellent photography and our friendly, fun atmosphere.

South Towns, founded in 1979, is a member of Niagara Frontier Regional Camera Clubs (NFRCC) and The Photographic Society of America (PSA)

MEETINGS & PROGRAMS

This year (2011), due to Labor Day falling after the first Thursday of September (AGAIN), the September meetings will be the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 7:30 p.m.  Following months meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, October 2011 to May 2012, at 7:30 pm.

Competition nights are the 2nd meeting of the months of Sept., Oct. and Nov.; then switches to the 1st Thursday night of Jan., Feb., Mar. and Apr.  We hold our Print and Image of the Year competition on the first Thursday of May and an Awards Banquet on the 3rd Thursday in May.

Our meetings feature diversified programs and voluntary competitions.

* Live lectures, workshops, and instruction covering all facets of photography, including digital, presented by expert photographers.

The 2011 Annual spring convention was a GREAT Success for South Towns Camera Club.  The four coveted trophies, (McKellar, Golden Houseshoe, George Butt for Color and George Butt for Monochrome), are again in our stable.   

Now we are ready for the 2012 Annual Spring Convention!

 *2012 Annual spring convention, will again be at the Niagara Falls (NY) Conference Center March 16, 17 and 18.
